Ashfield Central comprises of 101 luxurious designer apartments. The architect specified the use of the Hydroscreen Pivot Door System and Floor to Ceiling silicone-free detail fixed panel brackets across 152 Bathrooms.

Showers

The architect continued with unique detailing for the 2 story apartments staircase glass balustrades. The design consisted of full height 12mm Toughened safety glass mounted to the custom steel tread with standoff brackets and supported with ceiling clamps. A custom made 25 x 25 steel handrail was used off the glass connecting to the void area, where another 50 x 50 steel custom frame by AAGG was used to frame the void area glass balustrade.

Balustrade

Across the project external glass balustrade and handrails were installed for all 101 apartments comprising of standoff system and core drilled spigot system capped with an Axiom handrail finished in a Duratec pearl finish.

Two of the buildings required the installation of 200 Lineal Meters of custom ordered 13.52 Clear Toughened Laminated Safety Glass to act as a wind barrier and balustrade for the rooftop gardens, to seamlessly capture the city views. Installed using heavy duty standoffs fixed into concrete walls.

Retail

The ground floor kiosk required 19.52 Clear Toughened Laminated Safety Glass installed to act as an awning on all four sides.

AAGG also provided stainless steel handrails and posts to all external retail areas. Onsite welding took place onsite to provide a continuous, aesthetically pleasing and solid handrail for pedestrians.
